Thanks to you... we are serving 3,000 children annually. Please help us help as many children as possible reach their true potential. |
People of all ages can be a mentor, a role model, a friend. From a short-term commitment to an ongoing relationship, there are many ways to become involved. When you broaden a child’s horizons, they do the same for you.
Since its inception, Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles volunteers have helped more than 100,000 children. Through a variety of innovative, highly regarded mentoring programs and services, volunteers continue to serve about 3,000 children each year.
Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles volunteers gain a sense of enjoyment, accomplishment and appreciation derived from supporting an organization that develops lasting friendships and makes a positive change in a child's life.
There are so many ways to volunteer, including:
- - Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters, one-to-one mentoring program for Jewish children
- - Camp Max Straus, a non-denominational residential summer camp for underserved children
- - Sports Buddies and Arts Buddies, two separate weekend mentoring programs for all children
- - Witherbee Wilderness Training
