A Jewish Big Brother or Big Sister can be there as a mentor, a role model, a stabilizer, or just a good friend.
Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters provides one-to-one mentoring to Jewish boys and girls, ages six through 18. We work very closely with caseworkers to match them with trained adult volunteers. The children are forever changed by the caring attention and involvement of a mentor, helping them develop into stable, happy and successful adults. Hundreds of former little brothers and little sisters have received financial assistance for college through our scholarship program. The match length may span from one year to a Little Brother or Little Sister graduates high school.
