Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters

A Jewish Big Brother of Big Sister can be there as a mentor, a role model, a stabilizer or just a good friend. 

Having a Big Brother or Big Sister feels great; being one feels even better. The sense of joy when your Little scores their first goal; the pride you feel when you teach them to ride a bike for the first time; or the excitement you share with each other at every get-together and outing.  Sometimes, a conversation while just sitting at the park is the most fulfilling thing. These are just a few of the amazing things you'll experience as a Jewish Big Brother or Big Sister.

Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters has trained clinicians throughout Los Angeles County to guide and support volunteer mentors.  They work to ensure high quality matches with Little Brothers and Little Sisters and are available as needed by phone and email.

The match length may span from one year to when your Little Brother or Little Sister graduates high school.  Matches meet a few times a month and JBBBS staff can equip you with ideas for activities or outings.  The real secret to our success, and the reason why so many people continue to become Big Brothers and Big Sisters, is because they GET as much back as they GIVE.
