Going to Bat for Our L.A. Community: JBBBSLA at DodgerFest

GOING TO BAT FOR OUR L.A. COMMUNITY AT DODGERFEST

JBBBSLA’s own Amanda Rykoff is featured on LAist story about healing power of sports

Los Angeles is a city that comes together in times of challenge. This recent LAist article about how the Los Angeles sports community is pitching in to support victims of the recent wildfires highlighted just that. Our very own Amanda Rykoff attended DodgerFest at Dodger Stadium this weekend, where the community gathered to support fire relief and find connection through shared experiences.

A woman smiles at the camera wearing a "Dodgers 2020 World Series Champions" shirt. Others are in Dodgers apparel in the background. Text overlays describe the context of her visit to DodgerFest.

In addition to being a valuable member of our Development team at JBBBSLA, Amanda is also a passionate L.A. sports fan and dedicated volunteer for community initiatives throughout the year. We could not be more proud of Amanda, and are glad the rest of L.A. knows how special she is!

At JBBBSLA, we know the power of showing up—for each other, for our city, and for the next generation. Mentorship is just one way we help strengthen LA, reminding us that even in difficult times, we heal together.
