[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]As a parent of three children, I can honestly say that JBBBS has been a true blessing for our family. I walked the doors of JBBBS a decade ago with my oldest when her siblings were babies. And now those “babies” too have their own Bigs.
Our wonderful Bigs have been an extra adult in my children’s lives — positive role models, who provide guidance, encouragement, and consistent support. It really does take a village to raise kids, and JBBBS helped expand our village in the most meaningful way. Not only that our 3 Bigs have helped build my children’s confidence by providing mentorship, but also everyone within the JBBBS organization. They are always available if my children need someone to talk to.
Over time, these relationships have grown beyond the program — we’ve all become like one big family. I also love how there’s interaction between the siblings and each other’s respective mentors, creating a fulfilling environment, not just for one child but for all three.
JBBBS does an incredible job cultivating these strong, lasting connections, be it through providing programs that help deepen those bonds, or their top-notch match support and their individualized care system. Their compassionate support for our family has helped us through some difficult times through the years.
Because of their support and commitment, my children have gained trusted role models and relationships that will positively impact their lives for many years to come.
